Overall, this is a clean, quiet family campground. Wireless worked great! The sites are grassy, with a gravel pad for parking. We did not use the pool or hot tub, but the pool was constantly busy and seemed very popular with the kids. Very convenient to town of Cloquet for shopping (Super Walmart less than 3 miles away, small movie theatre, grocerie shopping.) We camped with 2 dogs and found the area nice for walking the dogs. Campground was a little difficult to find as the address states the campground is in Cloquet, yet the street address of "Carlton Road" belongs to the town of Carlton (I think). To find, follow 14th Street thru Cloquet (past the Walmart) and keep going about 2.5 miles. There is a big KOA sign on the left side of the road just past the railroad tracks. Overall, nice campground close enough to Duluth for activities, yet quiet and close to necessity shopping in Cloquet. We would stay here again.

This campground is located about ten minutes outside of Winnipeg in a Provincial Park. The park itself has lots of hiking trails, a paved bicycle trail, beach, riding stables. You need to drive to most of the activities, except the hiking trails. We live in Winnipeg, so this a just a 15 minute drive from home for us; but once you are set up you feel as if you are hundreds of miles away. Sites are very large and private. We stayed in a pull through, which was different than most of the drive throughs we have stayed in. With these, you park alongside your spot and sort of have a private yard on the side of your unit. There is a small store on site to pick up necessities, but for anything more you would have to travel back to Winnipeg. But RV dealers/stores as well as restaurants and shopping are all only 15 minutes away. However, there is no wifi or cable TV, so it is a real "camping" experience. We camp here regularly when we feel the need to "get away" for a weekend.

We stayed in this campgound for two weeks. It is well situated half way between Orlando and Tampa. It's about a 30 mile drive either way. Lakeland itself is a small city that is easy to get around. Lakeland has two great malls for shopping (one big new outdoor type, one traditional indoor mall type) The new outdoor mall has a great moving theatre, most comfortable seats we have been in) Some great restaurants as well. The campground feels very rural, yet is only minutes away from great shopping. WiFi worked great! Cable TV gave us around 80 channels and was included in campground fee. The campground is very picturesque (NOT the new pull thru area) with lots of trees with Spanish moss. The laundry room had about 10 washers and dryers and were reasonably priced. Washrooms and showers were very clean. Lots of area to walk dogs without every leaving the campground (it's very big). But do keep your dogs leashed. We saw several crocodiles sunning themselves. (right next to the "dog walk"!) We had a great time and can hardly wait to return.
